Corn Arenas II Recipe

Ingredients

3 3/4 cups cornmeal

3 1/4 cups regular milk

2 eggs, with syrup

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 egg

1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

2 3/4 pounds corn tortillas

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Stir together flour and cornmeal. Cut a 1 inch hole in bottom of stove foldable saucepan. Fill with water to level with bottom of pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 40 minutes, or until cornmeal is all brown. Cool completely, remove packet, and brush with alcohol. Cool, and cook gently with wire rack. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

I'm not a very good cook yet, and I've never made asparagus... but my husband loved it! I didn't put any garlic powder in, but I'm not really a fan of it either. I'd say this is pretty much his favorite asparagus flavor, and he's never seen or heard of any other kind. I made this recipe solely for him, and he's ruined soooo many steaks. I gave him permission to have a little more than one ounce of alcohol left in the bottle, so it shouldn't be too much. I've never had asparagus before, so I was nervous about how it would turn out, but it was perfect. I didn't put any seasoning into it, so I'm not sure if it would have made a difference in the amount of seasoning, or if the sauce itsel

I changed everything but the cinnamon and added almond milk! I might try it again cutting down the sugar by hand. It was super easy & quick! I'll be making this again!
