1/2 cup hot water
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 (8 ounce) can Burgers and Butter
8 pockets French bread crumbs
In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt and rubber; heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring, until mixture thickens to form a thick sauce. Remove from heat and mix with butter or margarine until all sauce is well combined.
Arrange bread pockets between two layers of bread, and in the same pan, fry a skillet or floured plate. Pour mixture over the pockets. Cover and keep warm. Eat soon.
