Made this recipe for a Thanksgiving get-together, and it turned out fantastically. Just as described by other reviewers, it is easy to make. I didn't have chopped nuts or dried cranberries, so I used raisins. And I still add some sugar and butter to it at the end. My only negative comment is that there's a bit of disharmony in the flavor because so many parts of the recipe are the same. I like the sweetness, but I also like them. There's a subtle peanut butter flavor, so it's a good base to play with. My only complaint is that there's more cake than crust -- I made less than 19 slices, and there probably wouldn't have been enough to go around. I had planned on making 18 squares, but I did 21 and 15 in the meantime, and that was fine, but I should have planned it better. I

This was very rich and delicious! I left my pumpkin in the to do this in the oven for 30 mins before I baked it so that it would get more evenly browned. I applied the sugar straight from the fridge, which worked fine. I cooked my hashbrowns for about 15 mins before I tossed them in the oven so that they got crispy and golden. They definitely needed the extra time, but at least they turned out well worth it!
