Butterfingers II Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup margarine

1 cup vegetable oil

6 eggs

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup orange juice

1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons orange maraschino cherry juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

Beat margarine, oil, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla into a small bowl. Stir in the buttermilk and buttermilk mixture, then beat in the reserved orange juice. Mix the margarine mixture into the egg mixture, mixing well. Stir in the raisins. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden and bottoms are crisp. Cool completely, and cut into squares.
