1 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup rye flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, rye flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt and bread crumbs until smooth. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, oregano, onion, Worcestershire sauce, Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning. Mix together. Pour mixture into one tart shell. Spread remaining pastry over crust and cut 4 deep slits in edge to allow steam to escape.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and pastry is crisp.
