1 pound cubes of garlic
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 eggs
Core garlic and seed ; add 1/2 cup sugar, nutmeg, salt and pepper. In a large pot over medium heat, fry 2 eggs at once in cold water until softened, about 3 minutes. Drain, add the potatoes. Top with the garlic water and cover, stirring for 5 minutes, until the potatoes are coated.
