2 cups water
2 cups vegetable oil
2 teaspoons lemon extract
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sliced lemon in cubes
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon salt
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine water, oil, lemon extract, eggs, lemon syrup, honey, salt and lemon zest.
When the mixture has heated, stir it into the creamed mixture and beat for one minute. Turn off the heat, and stir constantly.
A good clean white quick bread will do. Braise the loaf in a large bowl of milk, then sprinkle with lemon peels.
