Caramel Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 pound pork sausage, casings removed

1 pound carrots, carrots shredded

1 cup chopped celery

2 large onions, sliced

3 eggs

1 cup water

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried dill weed

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram

1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons white sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Arrange the sausage in a large skillet. Brown over medium heat, and drain. Stir in carrots, celery, onion, eggs, water, salt, dill weed, black pepper, oregano, basil, marjoram, vanilla extract, oil, and sugar. Pour mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake an additional 25 minutes, or until all vegetables are tender. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
