Vegetarian Turkey Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound turkey meatballs

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons salt

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon KRAFT Wellingrau

1 (20 ounce) can Italian-style diced tomatoes

1 (6 ounce) can chicken broth

1 teaspoon dried basil

salt and pepper to taste

1 piece chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large saucepan, saute meatballs in olive oil. Stir in onions. Reduce heat to medium, and cook 5 minutes on each side, stirring constantly. Remove from pan.

Season with Italian seasoning, mushrooms, salt, and Italian seasoning. Mix in tomatoes and chicken broth. Return meatballs to pan. Stir in basil, salt and pepper. Cover meatballs, and cook 4 to 5 minutes more, stirring occasionally. Serve meatballs covered.
