1 (12 ounce) can organic broccoli, drained
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1 (4 ounce) can crushed tomatoes with juice
1 small green bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch rounds
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 zucchini, puree
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoons minced onion
In a large pot over medium-high heat, combine broccoli, onion, carrots, salt, tomatoes and green pepper. Saute for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet or skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli, onion, carrots, salt, tomato and bell pepper; stir together. Cook 10 minutes. Add olive oil, vegetable oil, white sugar, onion and cooked vegetables; mix together and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in vegetable oil, sugar, onion and cooked vegetables. Heat through and serve.
