3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
In a large bowl, mix flour, corn syrup, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda and baking powder. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, milk, egg and vanilla together. Stir in the flour mixture. Fold in pecans. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
