Chocolate Nut Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (11 ounce) package chocolate candy-coated chocolate pieces

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/4 cup chocolate syrup

1 (12 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round pans.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and sugar until smooth. Stir in milk and oil until smooth. Beat the eggs into the cream cheese mixture. Spread batter into prepared pans.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool completely, and frost with chocolate frosting (if desired). Frost with chocolate icing (if desired).
