2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 (10 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
2 ounces shredded Swiss cheese, diced
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package dry ranch-style salad mix
1 small onion, diced
2 cups steamed buns or noodles
4 ounces ground bacon
white sugar for garnish
1 egg for egg wash
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
Heat oil in a large skillet or fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Blend shredded cheese and Swiss cheese in a medium bowl. Toss gently to coat. In a separate small bowl, combine sour cream and dry ranch-style salad mix in a medium bowl. Mix dinner rolls into sandwich mixture; spoon mixture over minced Cheddar cheese. Roll the cheese mixture into filets or patties. Place patties on buns or noodles. Serve on ice. Garnish with bacon, sugar and cheese mixture.
