1 pound beef brisket
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon dried sage
2 teaspoons dried tarragon
3 tablespoons allspice
2 tablespoons mustard powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place the steak on a medium baking sheet.
In a large bowl, combine the oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, basil, sage, tarragon, allspice, mustard powder, chili powder, and hot pepper sauce. Mix well.
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 1 hour or until steak is no longer pink and juices run clear.
