Mozzarella Bread II Recipe

Ingredients

1 egg

1/2 1/2 cups milk

1 cup cobbler club soda

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons paprika

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 tablespoon dried sage

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups bread flour

2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions

Place egg in a large saucepan, and bring to a boil. Cover, and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 to 7 minutes; boil, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and let cool.

In a large bowl, combine milk, soda, sugar, salt, paprika, dried basil, dried oregano, rosemary, sage, butter, vanilla, flour, yeast, and egg. Mix well, and pour into a 8-inch round loaf pan.

Bake in preheated oven until warm, about 60 minutes. Remove loaf from oven, and let cool. Top with pizza sauce if desired.
