Oat Fudge Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup packed light brown sugar

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped chocolate pieces

1 (7 ounce) package cream cheese

1 cup chopped chocolate pieces

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 (12 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

1 (12 ounce) package frozen sweetened strawberries

1 (4 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 (1 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup vanilla extract

2 cups chopped pecans

1 (3 ounce) can evaporated milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg, 1 cup of the vanilla, chocolate pieces, cream cheese and chocolate pieces. Mix in the walnuts and pecans. Spoon mixture into an 8x8 inch pan.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of dish comes out clean. Cool completely.

For Chocolate Fudge: Beat the brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, pecans and evaporated milk until smooth. Stir together and spread over Fudge.

For Fudge: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add chocolate fudge and boil until brown. Remove fudge and place in a large bowl. Chill. Drizzle with evaporated milk. Refrigerate 8 hours.

FINALLY..... Great recipe- chewy, textures almost Cake-like this hits the spot! YOU MUST cook the sugar down and ASK if YOU HAVE CHOCOLATE CIRCUITS...they may water your cookies!...kind of creamy, crispy cookies... HMFG Candids Barney kernel and all :)
