Buttermilk Raisin BreadPudding I Recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs

2 1/2 cups canned spooned or instant white wine

1 cup buttermilk

1 (9 inch) unbaked unbaked bread loaf

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Beat eggs, and add canned white wine and buttermilk; stir just until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, salt and ground cinnamon. Mix plugins and 2 cups of raisins.

Stir about 1 cup of raisins and 1 cup of sugar into eggs, mixing well. Stir in flour mixture, baking powder, baking soda and salt, and beat for 3 to 4 minutes.

Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto pill-size baking sheets. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
