2 (16 ounce) cans sliced pineapple
1 (16 ounce) package vanilla pudding mix
2 cans sliced almonds
2 cans sliced cherries, drained
1 can sliced black cherries, drained
1 small black walnut
1 small white chocolate
1 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup heavy cream
In a large saucepan heat pineapple, stirring occasionally until bubbles appear when poking with two forks. Place pineapple in the saucepan and gently stir the pudding mix into the pineapple. Let cool, then stir in almonds, cherries, black cherries, cherries, black walnuts and white chocolate. Heat until marshmallow-like, then pour over pineapple. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Heat butter and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat, stir in cream and sugar mixture. Spread over pineapple and pudding mixture. Refrigerate for 5 hours. Garnish with whipped topping, if desired.
