Pumpkin Spice Cake VI Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

3 eggs

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1 teaspoon instant pumpkin pie spice

1 cup vegetable oil

2 1/2 cups water

1/2 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin pie spice, vegetable oil, water, sugar, egg, pumpkin puree, cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes.

I love this recipe. To add a little more zing, as if you needed it, line your bowl with cream cheese. I use my black bowl, and there is the black, white, and red in the center visual. It is beautiful and tasty! It's great to spread on crackers!
