Kraft's Irish Cream Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 cup white sugar

1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar

1 egg

1 1/2 cup milk

1 (8 ounce) can Irish cream, chilled

1/2 cup Irish cream, whipped

1/2 cup Irish cream, chilled

1/2 cup sliced almonds

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the flour, then beat in the milk and egg; beat again until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Stir in the Irish cream, whipped cream, Irish cream, sliced almonds and vanilla.

Spread mixture on a 5 inch cake pan. Place top layers on the prepared baking sheet. Brush a draft over the top of the cream and chilled cream layers.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted inside edge of pan comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

I have made this twice and the only changes I made were to add 2 tsp. of salt and 1 tsp. of vanilla and I think that was the best. Everyone loved it.

I've made this recipe for every pub I've come across recommending it - including my own. There are a few differences I'd add:

This was a long time coming, but it's finally here! All those years of searching for a good hamburger have paid off handsomely. Deep-fried and topped with a tomato and onion top, this is the ultimate hamburger. You won't be disappointed!
