1 teaspoon vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup finely chopped onion
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
6 chicken breast halves
1 (10.75 ounce) can citrus flavored carbonated beverage
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons marinara sauce
Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add onions and saute until golden. Coat each breast with garlic powder. Stir the ginger and chicken into the skillet and continue to saute until golden. Add lemon zest and lemon juice and continue cooking over medium heat. Stirring constantly, stir in pasta and fry for 8 to 10 minutes.
Add citrus soda and salt to the skillet of grease. Simmer over medium high heat, stirring frequently. Stir occasionally until sauce has a traditional safflower tinge. Reduce heat to low and add some flour to the mixture. Continue stirring constantly until mixture becomes thick and thick.
