1 (21 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 1/3 cups water
1 (21 ounce) can freeze dried fruit
3/4 cup white sugar
3 eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10x15 inch pan. In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix and water. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, frozen dried fruit and 1/3 cup of sugar. Stir well. Fold in the eggs and 1 teaspoon of the salt and 1 teaspoon of the baking powder. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool completely.
In a small saucepan, combine 1 tablespoon of the sugar and 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Heat over medium-low heat, then pour over the cake.
