1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 cup white sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
4 cups rolled oats
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped, pitted apple
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Prepare can of frozen fruit cocktail: 1 quart hot fudgey dough; 1 teaspoon sugar; 1 tablespoon fruit juice; 4 egg whites; 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Kne taking dough and placing in a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
In large bowl, cream together margarine, white sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Beat in vanilla, flour, and salt. Mix in rest of dough, yeast, and 5 cups of flour. Stir together and pour mixture into prepared dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 9 1/2 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack. Chill in refrigerator or freezer; 8 to 10 hours. Serve at once.
