Ingredients

1 1/4 cups honey

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

1 3/4 cups honey

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 brownie slices

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan.

Sift together the brown sugar and honey. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well blended. Stir in the oil, then stir in the honey and brown sugar mixture until well blended. Fold in the brownie slices. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean. Cool brownies completely before removing from pan. Cool completely and store in refrigerator.

I found this recipe to be very tasty and did not experience any issues. I was very careful with the amounts of red and green peppers because I don't like spicy food and didn't expect too much. I used red bell pepper because I was afraid it would be too bland. And I was happy that it was so easy because it could easily be procrastinated over the next few days. I will definitely make this again and will be on the look out for the right spices to add.
