1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in pecans, almonds, pecans and almonds. Mix until well blended.
Spread mixture evenly into a 9 inch round pan. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the pie comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
