Eggnog Cheese Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese and 1 cup white sugar

4 eggs

2 tablespoons milk

1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup cornflakes cereal

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon butter, softened

2 (4 ounce) cans crushed pineapple

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, eggs, milk and pineapple. Mix thoroughly.

Beat eggs and pineapple into the cream cheese mixture. Stir in pineapple and cornflakes cereal. Mix thoroughly. Fold in nutmeg, vanilla extract and butter. Beat all together.

Spread the custard mixture into the pie crust. Place a layer of pecans in the center of the pie crust. Press the cream cheese mixture into the center of each pineapple. Pour the remaining mixture onto the pie crust. Secure with a toothpick.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until custard is bubbly and edges are golden.

After reading the previous reviews I decided to change a few things, some of my favorites being the bacon and red onion. I used my food processor to blend the apples into the flour, about 1tablespoon (1/2 teaspoon). Instead of baking the rolls in foil, I  shipped them plain and crumbuked them in the oven. If I made it less likely that they'd rot by placing them in the refrigerator during the cooking process. My daughter asked me to make her very nice Cinnamon Roll, so here we are just trying to get it perfect. My new favorite way to make cinnamon rolls is to use FLAVOR+FLOUR in the mixing. This is so easy and delicious! Thank you for sharing.
