Charlo's Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

1 (1 ounce) package instant citrus pie filling

1/3 cup distilled lemon juice

1/4 cup sugar

1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

2 eggs

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and lemon juice together. Beat in sugar. Place whipped topping into baking pan. Pour cream cheese mixture over whipped topping. Freeze for 2 hours or overnight before serving. Serve frozen.

This is wnderful. We had this cake for our birthday, and shearkened back to the good old days! We used rich cocoa powder and seltzer, and shearkened back to the good old days. I always enjoy hearing about new recipes being created by those who have tried them. I always have a large plate of these beauties , and I always find a new favorite. Thank you for sharing. By the way, do you have any chocolate chips or Reese's Pieces lying around? I would have thrown them right off, but I didn't have any. Lol.
