2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 pound Italian sausage, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 onion, diced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried sage
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Toss chicken with olive oil, then brown with 2 teaspoons olive oil. Add sausage, onion, salt, garlic, oregano, basil, rosemary, sage and olive oil; toss thoroughly.
Bake chicken at 350 degrees F 65 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink when center of bone is cut and juices run clear. Remove chicken and meat from oven and brush with chicken bouillon granules for gravy.
