3 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange flavored extract
6 fresh orange slices
1 orange, sliced into rounds
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
In a large mixing bowl beat the sugar, vanilla, orange extract and orange slices until blended. Mix the pecans with an electric mixer and put into the syrup until blended. Pour the syrup over the fruit in a thin layer forming a mass. Refrigerate the pecans and orange slices until serving.
