I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were great. My husband complained when they were all gone. I followed all of the directions on the packet of Danish cookies, but substituted one tablespoon of vanilla for the rum and one teaspoon of fine grain Granulated Sugar. I needed a molasses-like flavor so replaced half the sugar with water. I could have used less rum, but I think that would have added flavor. I will make this again!
