1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 cups white sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups bread flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9 inch round pan.
In a large bowl cream together cream cheese and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time stirring well after each addition. Mix vanilla with flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and pecans.
In a large saucepan add buttermilk, boiling water and cinnamon. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir into cream cheese mixture. Pour into prepared pan, and bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes.
While pie is baking, mix together pecans, walnuts and cinnamon swirl. Chill pie for 2 hours, or longer if you'd like it to stand up more.
