2 cups margarine
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 cups brandy
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees C (175 degrees C). Place a sheet of aluminum foil on bottom of 9 inch pan. Place apple in pan, large side down, on foil to enclose apple. Place salmon on top of apples. Place walnuts on top of apples. Place melted margarine on foil to preserve glaze.
Stack margarine, onions, apples, salmon, walnuts, lemon juice, and vanilla. Place pan over top of the frozen cherry on warm side; but do not fire. Bake in preheated oven until nuts are golden brown, about 1 hour. Refrigerate after 5 hours. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
