1 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons white wine
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, wine and oil over the pot. Stir carefully so that the butter does not burn.
Slowly cook and stir 1 inch thick slices of bacon into the pot. Cook 10 minutes on each side. Remove bacon, and drain grease from pan. Serve hot steamed brie cheese, thinly sliced diagonally, or other cut of French bread.
