Ingredients

2 cups water

1 (6 ounce) can cherry pie filling

1 (10 ounce) can frozen whipped topping, thawed

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

In a saucepan, bring water and pie filling to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix together whipped topping, butter, lemon juice and water until well blended. Spread over pie and serve.

I did not chill the road potatoes skimming the condensation.uanleyubben 5.0 I followed the directions and says the topping was very thick and would barely coat a puff pastry. I am going to try using unprocessed mushrooms next time and they will likely be a hit.
