1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 white onions, sliced into thick rings
2 carrots, diced
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (8 ounce) can chicken broth
ground black pepper to taste

3 ounces cornflakes cereal
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and saute until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Pour in the oil and brown well. Stir in onions, carrots and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until chicken is cooked through, approximately 5 minutes.
Stir the broth into the skillet with the chicken. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low and add chicken and cornflakes. Simmer 20 minutes. Stir in flour and water. Reduce heat to medium and add chicken and cornflakes. Simmer 15 minutes.
