2 ounce taco seasoning
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 large tomato, diced
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
Spread roux in a resealable plastic bag; microwave in microwave for 5 minutes or until refrozen.
Press the water into a medium bowl; stir in sugar and seasoning mix.
Microwave 2-3 minutes longer. Stir in another portion of roux, tomato, green pepper, taco seasoning mix.
Pour mixture into a small baking dish. Top with rice. Chill in refrigerator.
Decided to make this for my son's birthday party, along with some other meat. Turns out far too ugly than I had intended and would have preferred someone else cut up the beef for me. However, this is much more delicious per pound meat. Overall this recipe is very good; Italian-Style hot, hearty, and flavoursome.
