2 1/4 cups water
1/2 cup white rice
3/4 cup uncooked white rice
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon dried sage
In a saucepan boil water over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then stir in rice, salt, oil, honey, cornstarch, sugar and sage.
Cover, reduce heat to simmer, stirring frequently. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 75 minutes.
