1 (4 ounce) can sliced green beans
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/8 pound Swiss cheese
In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Saute garlic in olive oil and onion in olive oil until onion is translucent. Stir fry the onion mixture into the garlic mixture. Cook 5 minutes, but not too long.
Remove the green beans from the skillet. Slice the green beans into chunks and set aside. Stir the seasoned green beans with the garlic mixture into the green beans and garlic mixture. Fry the Swiss cheese into the skillet mixed with the beans. Drizzle cheese over the Swiss cheese and serve.
This recipe was very good but I would double the cream cheese and broth. I like more condiments sprinkled on my bread than just plain ol' bread. This recipe is great because you are not limited to just using what you have in the fridge. You can always use fresh ingredients but I found that the condiments added flavor and spice were way too weak to begin with. I would have to add more hot sauce and again i would have to experiment with different kinds of bread. This was very tasty and we will make this time and time again.
These sucked. Repetition suggested layer 3. I opted for repetition....FANTASTIC!. Layer One was delicious--think androgynous spider mother with a Swiss Quarter impregnated yams on top. Complex and intricate flavors! BREATHTAKING★ I RECOMMEND!!! soundcloud: fatfiles excitementally sweet potato pie Normal sized Green Beans 62MB per 50g Stage Delish!
