3 1/3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
2 tablespoons white sugar
2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 cups milk
1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons white sugar for decoration
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 3-4 quart baking pan (for holding).
Place ingredients in an ungreased bowl. Cover and let stand overnight in a warm place. Extrapolate 1/2 cup of the flour into the bowl; seal mixture with a spoon. The rest of the flour should barely stick to the bottom of the bowl.
Mix the remaining sugar with the remaining flour until just moist. Gently stir into the flour mixture. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 80 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let cool in pan for a couple of minutes before removing to a wire rack.
