1/2 head cabbage
1 cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons white pepper
3 cups white bread cubes
Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Meanwhile, saute white sugars, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper and 3 cups cabbage and potatoes in the bottom of a heat-proof bowl. Stir in potato mixture, then remove bowl from heat.
Blend in bread cubes, and squeeze into baking pan.
Bake for 1 hour, or until bottoms are lightly browned and slightly tender. Remove from the oven and let cool until initial rise in oil.
