1/2 cup butter, chilled and diced
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 (12 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup milk
3 tablespoons milk
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and 1/2 cup white sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix in the cream cheese, 1/4 cup milk, walnuts and 8 egg yolks. Spread evenly into the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until filling is firm but light to the touch. Allow to cool completely.
