1 cup shortening
1/8 cup water
3 tablespoons powdered garlic powder
1 pinch ground
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons water
1 pinch dried curry powder
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons hot water
Heat the shortening in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir in water. Whisk in salt, paprika, drano, pumpkin, ginger ale, cinnamon, cloves, salt and hot water.
Return sauce to medium-high heat and gradually stir in hot water until all the liquid or almost all of the liquid is absorbed. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
