Banana Toast II Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten

1 1/2 cups milk

1 cup banana slices

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup butter

1 cup fresh bananas, chopped

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon orange extract

1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup sliced citrus fruits

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, beat eggs and milk together until foamy. Stir in banana slices, vanilla, buttermilk, butter and bananas. Combine flour, sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into egg mixture. Pour batter into prepared baking sheets.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center of pan comes out clean. Cool off in oven for 15 minutes; remove pan from oven.

In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and vanilla extract. Mix well, then mix white wine and lemon juice into banana mixture until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center of pan comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then cool completely on wire rack. Cool completely on wire rack.

I increased the serving size to four and the sauce was thin- but still good. I will make this time and time again.
