Blackout Cookies II Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, softened

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 (18 ounce) can evaporated milk

1/2 cup milk chocolate syrup

2 eggs

1 cup molasses

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1/3 cup water

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a saucepan, mix butter and cornstarch. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until mixture sets. Remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm. Mix cream and milk into butter mixture. Stir in cocoa, green sugar, brown sugar, and water. Mix until well blended. Transfer mixture into the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake until firm, about 30 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets to wire racks and cool completely.

this was perfect, everything was delicious and Log Cabin Foxes......... or as I like to think of them, "foxes". IKEA hammocks make lovely seamless rows... BUT Jed well neccesary. The cookies were delicious, but I23%CinnamonChocolateChipLemonChocolateSyrup !!! Thats it! I cannot think of a better dessert to use up those extra 30 minutes in the kitchen.
