4 cups finely chopped peanuts
2 cups lightly packed white sugar
1 pint lightly whipped cream
2 tablespoons light rum
1 quart vanilla ice cream
Discard cream cheese slices, set aside.
In large bowl, mix chocolate syrup with butter, brown sugar, melted butter, rum, and ice cream. Fold until well blended. Pour into jars and chill for at least 2 hours.
I really enjoyed this recipe. I like green beans anyway, but it's nice to see how someone else prepares them. I used the whole young beans and real butter, but eliminated the flour. And baked it in a 9inch springform and coated it with flour mixture. Didn't seem to matter. Did it look and taste good but was really just there because my husband didn't know any better. Great texture and delicious!!
