Lemon Cream Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

2 ounces cream cheese

2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons chopped onion

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese sauce

1 (3 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

1 (8 ounce) can cherry pie filling

2 cups crushed pineapple, drained

1/2 cup sliced almonds

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray 6-inch pizza pan with cooking spray.

In a medium mixing bowl, blend together cream cheese and mozzarella cheese. Spread mixture on top of pie crust and spoon cream cheese mixture over pie.

Arrange mushrooms on top of pie after filling is poured. Top with bacon bits, crushed pineapple and almonds.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until crust is golden. Cool before serving, or store in refrigerator.

This is really good! I love tangy dishes and this was perfect! I wasn't sure how these would go, so I made a few adjustments. First, I constellated the peppers, I didn't want them to be too orangey. Second, I added a small pinch of ground cinnamon and baked in the flour tortillas as directed. Third, I used two large can of tomato sauce Chill [is that supposed to be sauce made from crushed tomatoes??] and added another can of tomato sauce FOURQ SUPERIOR [is that for real?] This was so darn good and so simple; thank you! ++Steve
