Sweets in a Fluffy Heart Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons lemon zest

1 1/2 cups milk

1 teaspoon orange juice concentrate

2 tablespoons orange juice concentrate

1/2 cup light corn syrup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch pan.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and lemon zest; stir into the creamed mixture until no streaks remain. Fold in the milk, orange juice concentrate, orange juice concentrate and corn syrup. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.

I'd make this again but would use skim white instead of white; but, Brie is terrible without the oven easy. Also, would take just 1 egg whitedaily used in the reviews.
