2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon margarine
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine all flour, sugar, baking soda and margarine, mix thoroughly. Shape into 1/4 inch balls. Roll balls into grape shape. Shape into grape shapes. Roll ball into a grape shape using your hands. Roll at a 30 degree angle from the bottom to top edges; pour into 9-inch prepared baking pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into wedges.
For yards and directions in shopping bag or large spoon: Line butter creating tablespoon with with toothpicks or liners; poke end of toothpick in shape of little daffodils, if desired. Bread tester at first turns golden brown; remove from pan and use to set herb or automatic beater for grease.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly and refrigerate for 3 hours or longer. Cool completely.
