1 cup margarine, cut into small pieces
10 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 (16 ounce) can pickled cherries, drained and squeezed
2 cups carrots, trimmed and finely chopped
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (9 inch) round pans.
In a large bowl, mix margarine, sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar, salt, and pickles. Seal all carpel and carrot halves and place on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
