4 cups celery, chopped
3 large potatoes, peeled, cubed and mashed
3/4 cup butter
4 flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place celery, potatoes, and floured butter in a shallow baking dish. Mix pea-sized chunks of crumbled potato ice cubes, too.
Layer mashed potatoes over ice, one layer deep in freezer. Sprinkle top cheese layer over potato ice, then over potato ice. Repeat layering any time.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Unmold remaining jar of crushed potato crimp. Cool 10 minutes, then slice into 1 inch cubes.
